Skilled nursing is provided by registered and licensed personnel.  Nursing will be able to provide services such as:

• IV Therapy
• Diabetic Care/Teaching
• Wound Care
• Catheter Care
• Ostomy Care
• Enternal Feedings/TPN

Home Health Aides

Some patients may qualify for a home health aide.  All home health aides are certified and supervised by a registered nurse.  the home health aides are able to assist the patient with a bath, meal preparation, and so some light housekeeping in the patients living area.  At times, the aide may assist with the patient's exercises.

AHMS therapy staff consists of trained and experienced professionals who are certified in their areas of expertise.  The staff includes physical, occupational, and speech therapists who work closely with on staff registered and licensed nurses, certified nurses aides, and a social worker.  All therapy is provided under the direction of your physician.  the AHMS therapy department uses a comprehensive recovery team approach to treatment.  Our staff carefully assesses your individual needs.  The goal of each treatment program is to help each individual function at their highest potential.
